Ebony is one of the hardest and most difficult woods to work with that exists.

The high density and hardness of the wood place special demands on the comb's tool Makers and the extremely fine-pored surface allow no mistakes. Precision to the tenth of a millimeter is required so that the comb maintains its even shape and an absolutely smooth surface is achieved.

Ebony combs care for your hair while combing. Because unlike, for example, metal or Plastic combs, which almost always have sharp edges, these combs perfectly processed. The ebony itself is able to transport the hair fat to to its surface and transports it for the delivers the body's own fat, so important for hair health, to the often dry hair ends.

Another an important advantage is that the natural material does not carry electrical charges absorbs and thus prevents the hair from becoming statically charged when combing.

Careful Polishing with natural beeswax brings out the silky shine of the material effect. Ebony has a higher density than water, so it is indeed waterproof even without polish. Nevertheless, we recommend cleaning the comb from time to time with some vegetable oil or even better the special horn comb balm, to wear off.

Genuine Ebony combs are rare and valuable, but also extremely durable and timeless beautiful. It is important that they are made horizontally from a single piece, because Ebony does not tolerate tensions within the comb caused by gluing of different sections often occurs.
