This Bay Rum is made entirely from plants and essential oils macerated for many months in extra-pure grain alcohol. It is a very old recipe, revived in the workshops of Father Lucien.

This small production is made exclusively from fragrant roses from our garden and is necessarily seasonal. This makes it a rare commodity. Only 200 bottles are produced annually.

Our after-shave lotion is much more than a simple after-shave; it is 100% natural and developed with essential oils, plants, and woods. Its composition includes sandalwood powder, Damask rose petals, bay leaves, and essential Bay de Saint-Thomas oil. The scents of this true, ancient treatment will take you straight to Jamaica. Without cloves, the scent of this lotion is especially delicate.

The warm, woody notes of this aftershave are sensual and masculine, like all products from Le Père Lucien. It moisturizes and soothes you while your skin delicately scents.

Our tip: If a shave did not go very well (irritated skin, small cuts, micro-cuts), to avoid the burning sensation from alcohol, simply put a few drops in your palm and then rub your hands together to warm the lotion. This causes the alcohol to evaporate before you gently pat it onto your cheeks. This way, you get all the benefits of glycerin and essential oils without the stinging feeling of alcohol.

For even more freshness after shaving, you can store your aftershave lotion in the refrigerator and only take it out before use.
