Not far from the Böker Manufactory headquarters in Solingen is Schloss Burg on the Wupper, the landmark of the Bergisches Land. It is also one of the largest castles in West Germany and the largest reconstructed castle complex in North Rhine-Westphalia. The glorious history of Schloss Burg is inseparably linked with the Duchy of Berg and the Counts of Berg (House of Berg 1068-1225). We have taken this as an occasion to dedicate arazor series to the three Counts of Berg, which symbolizes parts of the lives of the three counts and recalls their considerable possessions and power influence with impressive 24-carat gold decorations.

The extraordinary razor in 6/8 inch symbolizes the death of Adolf III, Count of Berg, during the Fifth Crusade in Egypt. Near from the company headquarters of Böker Manufactory in Solingen is located together with Schloss Burg at the landmark of the Wupper of the Bergisches Land.
