The sensitive and ultra-fine wedge (blade) of Straight razors largely straightens itself again after sufficient resting time. If you give the blade enough time to recover after shaving, you minimize maintenance effort and increase the razor's lifespan.
From the 19th century until the 1930s, weekly sets were common, in which seven identical razors marked with the individual weekdays were combined in a wooden cassette.
With the Böker weekly set cassette, the enthusiast and collector can gradually assemble their own weekly set according to preference, either uniform or from different models.
For greater resistance to moisture, we deliberately avoided using genuine leather and instead laminated the wood inside and out with high-quality synthetic leather in an elaborate wrapping technique. The bars with the seven razor holders are softly and non-slip padded for gentle storage. With diagonal grosgrain ribbon in the lid and decorative brass fittings.
