MATERIAL
This instrument is made of stainless steel type 1.4034. The metal alloy shows good corrosion resistance against soap or water vapor and is therefore ideal for the manufacture of high-quality scissors. In addition, the material has good edge retention and can be sharpened precisely. The matte surface feels exceptionally valuable and can still be gripped securely even with wet hands.
GRIND
This DOVO scissors is equipped with our one-sided serrated hand sharpening. By honing the edge on a plate, a fine ribbing is created. This structure prevents hair, beard hair, fingernails, or cuticles from slipping off the cutting edge. This results in an outstandingly precise and safe cutting guide.
BLADE DESCRIPTION
For hair and beard scissors, the design with a flush grind has proven to be particularly advantageous. In detail, this means that the scissor blades are not pointed at the front but rounded. This minimizes the risk of injury and is recommended when using scissors in the facial area.
CARE

The DOVO pocket comb made of horn naturally cares for the hair by absorbing skin oils and distributing them evenly to the hair tips. This gives the entire hair a natural shine and reduces static charge. Compared to combs made of plastic and metal, the horn comb causes less irritation to the arrector pili muscle and thus counteracts excessive oil secretion from the sebaceous glands. Note: Horn is a natural product and as individual in its appearance as we humans. Each horn comb is therefore unique in its color and grain.
