The long blade in the black insert is suitable for shaving the hairline and experienced shaving. The short blade in the red insert is especially good for the wet shaving beginner and for shaving contours. The plastic insert prevents worse injuries in both cases. It is best to very carefully "break" the blade in the paper before use.
