Traditional alcoholic aftershave

This lotion is an alcoholic aftershave with 10 essential oils, developed to soothe burning after shaving. A true moisturizer thanks to plant-based glycerin, combining all the astringent, disinfecting, and soothing properties of selected essential oils.

Our aftershaves are 100% natural and made with essential oils selected for their soothing (vetiver, sage, ho wood), disinfecting, and astringent properties (tea tree, niaouli, rosemary).

The design was created in collaboration with and under the supervision of a qualified herbal pharmacist. 

Ideally dosed with plant-based glycerin, this lotion is also moisturizing and repairing. Its 70° alcohol content is ideal because it is perfectly antiseptic without causing the slightest tingling. Finally, rich in unsaturated fatty acids, it is an antioxidant. Much more than just a simple perfume lotion, it is a real skincare product.

The fresh, woody notes of this aftershave, like all products from Le Père Lucien, are both traditional and modern. It brings you freshness and soothing while naturally protecting and moisturizing your skin. Its fresh and grassy scent recalls the gardens of Provence.

Our tip: If a shave didn't go very well (irritated skin, blood spots, micro-cuts), to avoid the burning sensation from alcohol, simply put a few drops in your palm and then rub your hands together to warm the lotion. This causes the alcohol to evaporate before you gently pat it on your cheeks. This way, you get all the benefits of glycerin and essential oils without the stinging feeling of alcohol.

For even more freshness after shaving, you can store your aftershave lotion in the refrigerator and only take it out before use.
