Shaving set in basalt stone look made of high-quality resin and brass. 

Valuable and rare stones are the basis for the design of this shaving set. Heavy basalt or quartz stone is beautiful - but unfortunately rather impractical for everyday use. Stones are heavy (so they can also break the porcelain of the washbasin if they fall) and a too heavy shaving brush might turn the morning lathering into a workout.

That’s why we looked for and found an alternative: high-quality resin can, with careful manual processing, show an appearance very similar to rare stones and, just like natural stones, each piece is unique. Because the liquid high-quality resin develops rather random structures during curing - no human can influence these anymore. Each piece is therefore one of a kind.

Here, Westerwald basalt served as a model.

Turned and polished, this results in unique individual parts of the shaving set. Assembly is done entirely without adhesives - everything is joined with brass screws.
Handcrafted. Valuable handmade work made in Germany - with the potential to become heirlooms. (And if the shaving brush head ever thins out or someone develops a new shaving system with even more blades - then Dr. Dittmar will also make it fit this shaving set.)

The shaving set has a total height of approx. 20 cm (incl. brush and razor), weighs about 350 grams (incl. brush and razor) and requires approx. 8 square centimeters of standing space. 

The shaving brush is equipped with finest Silvertip badger hair and has a ring diameter of 21mm. 

The razor is compatible with Gillette Mach3 razor blades.

The razor included in the offer is not a razor from Gillette production. It was produced by "Dr. Dittmar" and is exclusively designed for use with Gillette "Mach3" blades. A Gillette "Mach3" razor blade is already attached.
