For long durability, these nail pliers are hot-forged from stainless steel and then traditionally manufactured in Solingen. The cutting edges are finally hand-filed so that they close precisely and cut the nails cleanly. "Precise closing" means in the case of pliers that the two cutting edges initially only touch at the very tips, while a light gap remains along the rest of the cutting edge. Only with slight pressure on the handles do the cutting edges then close completely from top to bottom. This ensures the nail is cleanly cut and not crushed!

Thanks to its total length of 13.5 cm and the resulting leverage, even thicker toenails can be easily and cleanly cut with these nail pliers.

 

The particularly robust buffer spring, which pushes the pliers back open after cutting, can of course be easily replaced if it breaks after prolonged use.
